This was the inaugural event of the organisation. Due to the lock down in place, it was conducted online. The theme for the event was multi domain ranging from science & technology to movies & music. This multi domain theme made us unique from the rest, which played a crucial role in attracting huge audiences from all age sectors. Adding on the event was conducted on weekends, which also proved beneficiary in receiving an overwhelming response.
Talent ShowLooking at the idle state of the students due to the lock down, we conducted a talent show program in order to create a virtual platform for participants to present their talent. The participants presented their talents in music, art, and dance to even stand-up comedy. This proved to be highly appreciable by our mentors as lock down had drained us of all interests and activities from daily life. As expected, the event was well received and appreciated by the student community.
Treasure HuntSoon after the college reopened in March, we decided to have our first offline event. By utilizing the resources in the college campus, we came up with the idea of treasure hunt. There were 20 teams who participated with enthusiasm. All of them were 1st year engineering undergrads, who hadn’t had the opportunity to explore the campus. Our event provided the occasion for these freshers to know their friends and college better. All students had fun participating in the event. Exciting cash prizes were given to the winners at the end of the treasure hunt.
